4 Steps to Clean A Vacuum Flask

Keeping the vacuum flask clean and tidy contributes to huge improvement of health and life quality.

Improper maintenance and methods of cleaning a vacuum flask is highly possible to damage the flask and create health problems.

 

The vacuum flask should be thoroughly cleaned once a day, and the cup noodles, inner wall and cap should be cleaned to prevent from dirt. Don’t worry if you find any odor and stains. The following are the cleaning steps:

 

Step 1: Wash the inner wall to remove odors. Here are 3 options:

Option A

Add salt to the odor, pour salt into a thermos, dilute with water, shake well, soak for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse well.

Option B

Baking soda to smell

Dilute baking soda with hot water, pour into a thermos, cover and shake the thermos, then rinse with water.

Option C

Use a lemon

Put lemon slices and lemon juice in a thermos, add boiling hot water, soak slightly for about an hour, and then rinse with a sponge. White vinegar has the same effect without lemons.

 

Step 2: Clean the cap gap

Remove the lid, squeeze some toothpaste on the toothbrush, gently scrub the gap in the lid, and then rinse well with water.

 

Step 3: Rinse with water

Rinse the whole inside and outside of the cup with water.

 

Step 4: Drying

After washing the vacuum flask should be thoroughly dried and then covered, so as not to retain any smell on the stainless steel thermos cup.
